SPEAKER AND HOST BACKGROUND:

Roy Tan (Speaker) holds a Master’s in Business Administration and a Bachelor’s in Computer Science. He started off as a Software Engineer and slowly ventured into the Oil & Gas Sector as a Transport Manager under a SHELL haulage contractor; to finally find himself as a Sales Manager in an IT solutions firm. Due to his keen drive to network and build business relationships, he started his own systems integrator business in 2007. During his entrepreneurship, he became involved with Business Network International (BNI), an international business networking body and served as its previous chapter vice-president and president. He is still an advocate and currently serves as a Director Consultant.

Having realized his strengths in public speaking, in 2009, Roy automated his business to focus on developing his skills in the area of personal development and training. Roy’s new found passion for creating a positive impact on people’s lives has helped him in his commitment and dedication of delivering the right message to empower others to take charge of their lives.

DR. Teoh C.N. (Host), the founder of MindPower Inspiration Hub, is a Doctor of Philosophy (Mgmt) and a graduate of Master of Art, Degree in Management (UK) and Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering (M’sia), plus a Certified Graduate of Palladium
Kaplan-Norton Balanced Scorecard (USA). He is also a graduate of Certificate of Professional and Personal Development – Hypnotherapy from The London College of Clinical Hypnotherapy (UK). Besides, Teohcn is also a Certified Training Programme Developer and Instructor by the Australian National Training Authority (ANTA), and a Certified Hospitality Trainer by the American Hotel and Lodging Association (AHLA). He is also a certified NLP Practitioner by the International Society of Neuro-Semantic (USA).

As a prominent trainer in Malaysia with his renowned training effectiveness, he is elected by the Malaysian Ministry of Human Resource (MoHR) as its esteemed panel trainer for Train – The – Trainer Certification Programme; to develop, assess and certify trainers in Malaysia.

With his previous attachment as a Training Advisor in Resorts World Berhad (Genting) and current attachment to the Management & Science University as a Doctoral Scholastic Researcher, he has vast management knowledge, particularly in the area of Organisational Development and strong capabilities in Competency Workplace Training, both in the service and manufacturing industries. With this, he has extensively involved in the development and delivery of workplace training for numerous turnkey initiatives, especially on the continuous improvement programmes towards achievement of service and product quality requirements of Multi National Corporations like BMW, Nissan, Motorola, Sony, Epson, Samsung, Kansai Paint, Flextronics, F&N, Airasia, Eurocopter, Technip, Bumi Armada, Baker Hughes, Oracle, AEON, Tesco, Bank of China, Wilmar and Ambank, to name a few.
